To offer you the highest standards of safety, well being, compatibility and peace of mind, our selection process includes: a preliminary phone interview, a personal interview, skill and compatibility tests, professional and personal reference checks, two stages of extensive criminal background checks prior to hire, and an ongoing criminal/offenders registry monitoring system.

TRAINING & LICENSING

Our staff attend trainings that are deemed beneficial to the individuals they work with, even when such training is not mandated by regulation. In addition, APluscare develops and conducts training/in-service for staff on a regular basis.

Our staff members must complete and pass multiple training sessions before they begin working with individuals in our care. We also require frequent skill refreshers.
