Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Day Support Center Direct Support Professional and Behavior Support Specialist
  • Maintain detailed client records and analyze program related data accordingly
  • Ensure that the day support center environment is therapeutic and appropriate to meet each individual's needs
  • Managing Program Staff including monitoring attendance, job performance, developing staff skills and providing timely annual performance appraisals
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and team building sessions, presenting recommendations and corrective actions in order to effectively manage staff performance
  • Oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Day Habilitation program as it pertains to program participants, staff, and program site
  • Ensure safety and well-being of all individuals in the Day Habilitation program
  • Provide training and keep each program participant in accordance with the Day
    Habilitation Plan and the primary care physician

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in behavioral health, Health Care Administration, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Employee must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection or investigation
  • Employee must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training
  • Push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
